Tennis
|
 Tennis
is fun in Cancun because there is
often a gentle breeze to keep
you going. Most hotels have
one or two courts and there are
also courts at Pok-Ta-Pok. Practically
all of Cancun's hotels have perfectly
designed tennis courts rigorously
maintained under the high standards
of the sport's rules. Reserve the
hours of your choice; you can even
take a course. In Cancun, you can
find fully-stocked sporting goods
stores with tennis equipment for
rent in case you didn't bring any
on vacation, but check first at
your hotel - they may be able
to provide what you need.

Bicycling,
In-Line Skates & Jogging
|
|
Walkers, runners and bicyclists
need not abandon their regimens
while vacationing in Cancun; a biking/jogging
path runs parallel to the island's
main road from Punta Cancun into
downtown Cancun, a distance of about
six miles. Bicycles can be rented
at several locations in the Hotel
Zone, as can in-line skates.

Moped Rentals
|
|
Mopeds/motorcycles can be rented
by the hour or day in Cancun at
several locations. Downtown
can be quite congested, and is not
recommended for inexperienced moped
drivers. Mexico has a helmet
law, which the police strictly enforce.
If you rent a moped, be sure to
request a helmet.
