 Ahh,
Cancun, Mexico... A vacation
paradise with clear blue
waters, white sandy beaches,
a tourist friendly local
culture and an invigorating,
fast paced nightlife! Sounds
fantastic doesn’t it? And
that fast paced nightlife
is no joke when you’re talking
about Cancun!
Clubs such as Coco Bongo,
Señor Frogs, Dady ‘O & bulldog
take in thousands of tourists
a week with their brilliant
stage and light shows, open
bars and DJ music until
the sun comes up. These
clubs are a ton of fun with
a lot of pros, but with
expensive cover charges,
extremely loud music and
the dance floors and bars
packed to the nines, they
also bare a few cons as
well.
So where does a tourist
go if they are not into
the fast paced nightlife
scene anymore? What if you
just want to relax in a
nice club or restaurant
where you can hear yourself
talk, maybe catch some great
live entertainment without
a high cover charge? Located
on the South end of the
Hotel Zone, you will find
such a place in Pancho & Willy’s @ Captain’s Cove,
and every taxi driver in
Cancun knows Captain’s Cove.
Looking to secure business
from the over-30 age market,
the owners of Captain’s
Cove, The Royal Resorts,
knew that a lot of their
owners in their resorts
did not have a place where
they could go to relax and
let their hair down. When
Hurricane Wilma destroyed
Captain’s Cove in 2005,
operators of the resorts
listened to their owners
and added a late night location
to Captain’s Cove that they
could just walk across the
street to without going
to the noisy clubs in the
party zone.
Captain’s Cove offers
a very nice and affordable
seafood menu, while P& W’s
has a lighter menu. On Monday,
Wednesday & Friday nights
you can enjoy Chubby’s Karaoke
starting at 9pm. And this
is no ordinary karaoke show.
With hosting shows for over
20 years, this entertainment
company provides something
for everyone that walks
into the bar that wants
to enjoy a cocktail or three!
Above P& W’s stage hangs
a giant 15ft wide by 12ft

night at 10pm, FLASHBACK
hits the stage playing all

the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s
on up to the hits of today!
Flashback has been entertaining
patrons in Cancun for over
15 years and has been playing
P& W’s since their opening
in 2006.
