The design concept, by acclaimed Mexican architect Sordo Madaleno and award-winning New York based Rockwell Group, has crafted original and memorable spaces through natural elements, artwork, textures and light. Earthy hues and natural textures throughout the resort include stone, water features and woods.
Located along the Paseo, a large, open-air corridor that connects the entrance of the hotel with the beach, the hotel has two restaurants and three bars/lounges, all featuring a selection of fresh local flavors and cuisines.
The Spa at Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen Resort resembles the shape of a Cenote, creating the perfect environment to enjoy the variety of body and facial treatments and special packages offered. You’ll also enjoy the hotel’s state-of-the-art fitness center where you will be able to keep your exercise routine while traveling.
In addition, the resort has eight pools, including three infinity pools; a Camp Hyatt for children; a teen arcade; and a natural wildlife sanctuary that preserved a section of mangrove jungle on the property.
